Upgrades
Referees who meet the requirements to upgrade should send a formal request via e-mail to the SRA and SDA.
The requirements to upgrade are as follows:
Upgrade from Grade 8 to Grade 7:
Minimum age: 17
Meet 5 hour annual Referee Recertification

Referee Exam - Minimum score 85%
Experience: minimum career
outdoor games
Referee: 75
Assistant Referee: 25
Pass
one evaluation as referee in U-17 competitive league or
higher
Physical Fitness Test
Attend Intermediate Upgrade Clinic

Attend 2 day Advanced Upgrade Clinic
February 13 & 14, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Snow date - Feb. 20 & 21)
