SPRING 2011 TEAM APPLICATION
The Mid-Maryland Soccer Association (MMDSA) will kick off the spring season on Sunday, 3 April. The league will be a combination of teams from the Maryland Major Soccer League and teams that register directly with MMDSA. All teams must be registered with the Maryland State Soccer Association, affiliated with the U.S. Soccer Federation and the U.S. Adult Soccer Association. The league will consist of no more than 10 teams with the goal to play 8-10 matches for the season (dependent upon the number of teams registered). Games will be played primarily on Sundays with a some on Thursday evenings. The league will run through early June.
Teams with contacts or permits for fields need to
inform us the
dates the fields are available in order to put together the schedule.
The
fees are listed below. The MMDSA
fee covers field fees, referee assignment fees, equipment and trophies. Referee fees are $140 per game, $70 per team.
Each team should budget around $700 for referee fees. Each team
will pay the referee fee in cash at the field each week.

New teams will be required to post a $140.00 performance bond, the $300 league fee and $320 player registration fee for a minimum of 16 players (each additional is $20 per player). Total initial fees of $760.
Instructions will be sent to new teams for online registration.

Fees are due by 14 March. The first 10 teams that send their fees will be
accepted.
The season organizational meeting will take place on Monday, 14 March, 7:30 at DuBurns Arena (1301 South Ellwood Avenue, Baltimore). Registration forms & fees can be turned it at the meeting. Make checks payable to Mid-Maryland Soccer. Otherwise, mail the registration and fees to:
