MSSA 2008-2009 Cups

Congratulations to all of our winners and the participants in our cup competitions. Maryland continues to be among the leaders in the nation in cup participation despite being a small state. But we have a competitive spirit and once again have proved to have quality teams.

Our state champions for 2009 were the Christos FC & Green Turtle. In Regional I play the following teams advanced to represent Maryland in the U.S. Adult Soccer Association national competitions: Christos FC, Baltimore Colts FC, Christos/Colts FC, Baltimore Bays Chelsea & Power Solutions Lions. On the national front, Baltimore Bays Chelsea qualified as the Region I Champion in the Men's U23 Cup and represented the state and region in the USASA National Finals. In the Veteran's Cup, Camp Springs SC made it to the final in the Over-50 division. Congratulations to all of our Maryland teams.
