MSSA 2007-2008 Cups

Congratulations to all of our winners and the participants in our cup competitions. Maryland continues to be among the leaders in the nation in cup participation despite being a small state. But we have a competitive spirit and once again have proved to have quality teams.

For this cup season, it was the year of the Colts. The Baltimore Colts dominated cup play, winning the Rowland & Stewart Cups and qualifying as the state Region I representative in the U.S. Adult Soccer Association national competitions in the Open & Amateur Cups. The team went on to win the Region I qualifier in the U.S. Amateur Cup and came just short of winning the national title. A remarkable season for the team. Christos/Colts United were the qualifier in the U.S. Over-30 Cup with the Baltimore Bays 89, Ambassadors FC & Bethesda SC advancing in the U.S. U-23 Cup. Bethesda SC won the women's Region I Tournament. Congratulations to all of our Maryland teams. The results of the entire cup season can be found at the links below.
