Directions to Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club - MAP
From Route 95 North of Philadelphia - Take I95 South to Exit 49, Newtown, Route 332. Follow Route 332 around Newtown, it will merge with Route 413, from there at the third traffic light follow Route 332 and make a left. After about 3 miles you will come to an intersection with Route 232, make left at that traffic light. At the next traffic light, follow Route 232 to the right. After about 3 miles you will come to an intersection with Route 132, Street Road, turn right. At the second traffic light turn left into Davisville Road. After a couple hundred yards the street will narrow then you will see a sign 'Hidden Driveway" and a fire hydrant. That is the entrance to "Vereinigung Erzgebirge".
From Pennsylvania Turnpike - Follow PA Turnpike I276 to the old Exit 27, Abington and Route 611. Stay in the very right lane to Route 611 North. After about 200 yards turn right into Mill Road. At the interchange with Route 263 the street will change the name to Warminster Road. After about 1 mile turn right onto Byberry Road. After about 0.8 mile turn left onto Davisville Road. Follow to County Line Road, turn right, after 200 yards Davisville Road will continue to the left. After about 200 yards the entrance to Vereinigung Erzgebirge is at the left side.
From Route 95, Philadelphia and South - Exit 95 North at Woodhaven Road (Route 63). Exit Woodhaven Road to Roosevelt Blvd., Route 1 North. Turn onto Byberry Road and drive this for about 4 miles. Turn right onto Route 232 North, then left onto County Line Road. After about 1.5 miles turn right onto Davisville Road. After about 200 yards the entrance to Vereinigung Erzgebirge is at the left side.
From Northern New Jersey, New York and Points North - Head South on the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 connector to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Cross over the Delaware River and exit at the Philadelphia Exit, the 2nd exit in Pennsylvania. Follow directions from PA Turnpike (above).
Attention: Please drive slowly on the road to the parking space, there are three speed bumps.
Hotel Information (Horsham, PA)
The format will be group play on
Saturday. The men will be split into 4 groups of 4 teams. Each team will play
each other in the group, the matches will be 60-minutes long (3 games played).
The group winners will advance to the semifinals on Sunday.
The women will be in 2 groups of 4 teams,
playing 60-minute matches (3 games
played). The top two finishers in each group will advance to the semifinals on Sunday. The
semifinals will be 60-minutes in length. The winners will play in the afternoon
in the final, full 90-minute match. In both the semifinals and finals, overtime
is possible. The Saturday preliminaries will be in regulation only.
Each team will need to post a $500 performance bond, which will be returned if
the team plays all of its games and does not forfeit any match. Also, to help
cover some of the expenses, each team will need to submit $100. The region will
pick up the remainder of the cost.
